Revocation of Consent Policy

This Revocation of Consent Policy ("Policy") outlines the procedures and legal standards by which individuals may withdraw previously granted consent for the use of their personal data, content, or participation on SinParty ("Platform"). The purpose of this Policy is to uphold user autonomy, comply with applicable data protection laws, and ensure that all consent-based activities are reversible, transparent, and enforceable.

2. Scope

This Policy applies to:

  • Consent given for the processing of personal data
  • Consent to participate in platform activities (e.g., content creation, monetization)
  • Consent for the use, distribution, or promotion of user-generated content
  • Consent for marketing communications, affiliate programs, and third-party integrations

This Policy does not apply to data processing required by law, contractual obligations, or legitimate interests where consent is not the legal basis.

4. Consent Revocation Procedures
4.1 How to Withdraw Consent

  • A clear statement of the consent being revoked (e.g., data processing, content usage, marketing)
  • Any relevant supporting documentation (if applicable)
4.2 Processing Timeline
  • Acknowledgment of request: within 48 hours
  • Completion of revocation: within 10 business days
  • Content takedown (if applicable): within 15 business days
  • Data deletion (if applicable): within 30 calendar days, subject to retention exceptions
5. Impact of Revocation

Upon revocation of consent, SinParty will:

  • Cease processing the specified personal data or content
  • Remove or restrict access to affected content (if applicable)
  • Terminate participation in marketing, affiliate, or promotional programs
  • Update internal systems to reflect the change in consent status

Revocation does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out prior to withdrawal. Certain data may be retained for legal, contractual, or compliance purposes (e.g., fraud prevention, financial records).

6. Limitations and Exceptions

Consent revocation may be limited in the following circumstances:

  • Legal Obligations: Data required for law enforcement, tax, or regulatory compliance
  • Contractual Necessity: Data required to fulfill a service or transaction
  • Platform Integrity: Data necessary to maintain security, prevent abuse, or enforce terms
  • Third-Party Dependencies: Content already distributed to third parties under valid license

In such cases, users will be informed of the specific limitations and their rights to challenge or appeal.

7. Policy Updates

This Policy may be amended to reflect changes in law, technology, or platform operations. Users will be notified of material changes via email or dashboard alerts. Continued use of the Platform constitutes acceptance of the updated Policy.

8. Governance and Oversight

This Policy is administered by SinParty's Legal and Compliance teams. All revocation requests are logged, audited, and subject to periodic review.
